Doctors in Switzerland prescribed antibiotics twice as often in the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic as before.

    and this was likely not just the Swiss. Worldwide a lot of doctors prescribed anti-bacterial anti-biotics for a viral infection. It’s a problem. Overuse of antibiotics by medical professionals, and especially in industrial livestock businesses drives the process of antibiotic resistance in bacteria.
