There’s some instructions for the built in hyper-v. Use it for whatever you want. It’s just another windows machine without the need to have extra hardware or dual boot.

If it’s once a year then I just delete it without though.

Create a VM on your machine and use it for things you don’t trust, such as a windows work/school account.

Kindle. I rarely re-read, so why waste the paper/space.

I also looked at zoho because of how cheep it was, and Synology for self-hosted. I ruled out the Synology because self hosting sucks and zoho because anti-spam is hard.

A long time ago I would try and keep track of things with notes. It didn’t work.

I set up my personal email calendar as my schedule and put everything into it. I even linked it to my work account, my phone, tablet, etc. I’ve made it very easy to create appts in it.

It’s made my life significantly easier.

If it came from an OEM then their tool that grabs driver/software updates. Lenovo Vantage for instance.

If it didn’t, then native apps that perform a similar task. Intel has one for their software/drivers, and another that’s only for their gpu. GeForce experience is another for their gpu cards. Likely others.

Powertoys. So many little apps that make things easier.
