Yeah those worked way better than the fm transmitters. Only problem was my car introduced a humming sound into the signal that got worse with speed lol.

It’s not the radio that didn’t work. These were fm transmitter/receivers you used to play mp3 players/cd players back in the day when vehicles didn’t use aux cables. It sent the signal over short range fm signal to your radio.
The alternative was the cassette adapter, but some vehicles had swapped to cd
FM radio receivers for the car.
Never could find a radio station that would work. When you did, it only worked for about 1/4 mile down the road and then had to find another station.
I miss the mods of CS1. Move it and the traffic manager were must haves. You’d think they would have brought those features into 2.
The built-in path connections are so bad.
Do not for the love of God put your system on 11. There has already been too much hacking proof of concepts for the rewind feature.
Hold 10, pay for the updates if need be.
Yes. And then polish up your resume. Work experience can trump age/even certs sometimes.
This is an awesome moment in interviews to let them know you try to head off problems before they start.
You said you were young, so you might not fully know your own worth yet. I’d rather hire someone who is forward thinking and preventing problems then someone who might have a cert or 2 more than you.
Had some people over, and a joint started getting passed around. One of my friends took a couple steps and face planted. Like out fucking cold. I get up to see what happened, and I face plant. My whole body is numb, and I can’t move.
Come to realize an asshat who I never liked dipped the joint in hydrocodine. It wasn’t an awful experience, but I wouldn’t have touched it if I had known. I would have least liked to have been on a couch instead of face first on the kitchen floor.
Attic fan. It is a game changer.
Returnal. I went hard for a few weeks working those biomes.
I am currently going down the rabbit hole of sim racing. It’s dangerous, and I’m trying my best not to drop tons of money into it.
I mean, I can’t list every one of them? It all depends on if you find a 6 inch screen too big or something Tesla sized.
I know my Ford Maverick and my wife’s Kia Soul are pretty tame with the infotainment system.
I’ve read through your comments, and honestly, you’re just going to want to buy an old civic or another Corolla, and if you need to, swap in a new engine. You really have to choose working on an old car to keep it running, or live with even the basic standard safety features like a backup camera. Keep in mind that the new lane assist or collision avoidance stuff can be turned off in virtually all new cars. Plenty of new cars don’t have an obnoxious infotainment screen as well.
You have to buy one prior to 2018 then. I believe that was the year it became standard.
I’ve seen interviews with this guy. He had a surprisingly bright outlook on life. I think he would have found this funny.
Outside of a few comics, one of the unexpected items I have is Lego Wall-E. Even unboxed, it goes for several hundred. Don’t underestimate retired sets.
Why is it so fucking hard for the U.S. to see Israel for what it is. I mean, as an agnostic I know exactly why, but I still have to ask my country why we can’t call out genocide when we can fucking see it?
It’s like sitting on the sidelines of the holocaust and just saying…well…we have interests in that region, so let’s hold on a minute.
E6000 epoxy glue is the best all around glue out there.
Commodore 64. I had no idea wtf this thing was that my grandparents bought. They got a few cartridges and the 5.25 floppy drive. I put a cartridge in and a game came up. I was hooked. I slowly learned basic and how to use the floppy drive. A few years later, we got a Macintosh Performa 450. That was the first “real” computer I got to learn on. I quickly realized Mac wasn’t for me and the next one was a Packard Bell with a 150mhz processor. From there I built my own and never looked back.
Old old navy clothes were actually well made. The newer ones are definitely hit or miss.
The highest end Green Pan cook set. I’ve had expensive cookware before, but these are unbelievable. Actually makes me want to cook more.
There won’t be a ban. TikTok will probably end up making a U.S. only version that will satisfy congress.
The data will be sold to a 3rd party broker who will then keep sending it to China, so nothing will change in the end.
