They got their name because they’re the kind of casserole you bring to family gatherings. They got popular because of crispy cheesy awesomeness.
The wasabi goes over there.

Do I have to pick one? Shoestring fries, waffle fries, tater tots, home fries, steak fries, garlic mashed potatoes, potato pancakes made from leftover garlic mashed potatoes, curly fries, funeral potatoes, and Greek potatoes are all awesome. I’d also like to try to make patatas bravas sometime. I’m guessing they will also be awesome.
I really enjoyed the live-action One Piece series much more that I thought I would. Other than that, we’ll watch the occasional bad horror flick or goofy comedy.
It’s included with our cellular plan. If they drop it, I be returning to the high seas, yarr.
That sounds like the premise for a new Tim & Eric series.
Refurbs FTW! I scored a lot of good (but not cutting edge) electronics back in the heyday of TigerDirect.
I just read about this! The bowl of petunias was an incarnation of Agrajag. “Not again” referred to being killed by Arthur. Again.
So we got covid, Canada and Hawaii burning, a hurricane in southern California, a right wing insurrection in the US, and microplastics in everything. What’s next? Brainworms, of course!
I bought Disco Elysium during the Steam Summer Sale. I’m only on the second “day” (in game time). It’s OK. There’s lots of attention to art and fleshing out the NPCs. I’m not blown away yet, though.
I was a definite “no” until you made me consider it as an alternative to flying Delta.
That’s an awesome tip! I wish I knew that seven years ago after my last build.
This might be more of a setup thing, but one of the first websites you visit should be ninite.com in order to download browsers, media players, cloud storage, .zip file decompressors, etc, all in one go.
It will definitely be a slow death. The sound of a few engaged users uniting in protest isn’t what will scare Reddit. The sound that will scare them is the sound of many casual users going “Meh” when minimally-moderated subs plagued with spammers and repost bots finally bore the doom-scrolling zombies looking for a momentary dopamine rush from Tik-Tok videos and easily digestible memes.
I mainly use usenet, but I torrent anything I can’t get on usenet. Maybe my indexer or server just sucks. I use Sonarr, Radarr, and SABnzbd plus Frugal Usenet and NZBgeek for usenet downloads. Qbitorrent plus VPN for torrents.
They’re already calling his plea agreement a “sweetheart deal” and “a slap on the wrist”.
I hope the best for them as well, but even if they make it to the surface, they can still suffocate because they’re bolted in from the outside.
I’ve been waiting for a good deal on Disco Elysium and Escape from the Backrooms. I might pull the trigger this time.
I think a lot is riding on Reddit’s promised rollout of new mod tools. If the new mod tools aren’t available before the 1st, or if they’re woefully inadequate compared to those of third party apps, a lot of mods are going to be upset. Particularly those moderating large subs.
Using LYNX on a monochrome terminal in the university computer lab. Yes, I’m old.
