I switch between Boost for Lemmy and Jerboa. Boost has more features but is a little more complicated to use. Jerboa is super simple and made everything easy but it’s missing a few features I need to use occasionally.

Not drinking. It’s a habit I started after nearly 2 decades of being a terrible alcoholic lol
Use them to make a bootleg copy of Duke Nukem to share with your friends. That’s what we used to do with them lol
Probably it was the first time as a young adult that I found myself out of money and realized no one was going to give me any more. It’s kind of a jarring experience the first time you realize you have $50 left in your account, you don’t get paid again for another week, and mom and dad can’t help you.
I’m honestly glad it happen to me sooner than later, because it taught me a lot about how to be resourceful, how to budget more carefully, and that as a grown adult I should really be able to handle these things on my own.
No. Why would I?
The hardest thing for me was the instant gratification. If I was feeling bored or lonely I’d just go on there and post any old bullshit just because I knew it would get an immediate response. I’ve been off Facebook for nearly 8 years now and I don’t miss it at all anymore though lol
If I didn’t make time to do anything besides work and sleep like that I would literally go insane after about 2 weeks
Guitarist/cross stitcher, with a side job as a professional TV watcher lol
The closest thing to an explanation I’ve ever gotten was “it’s about control of information maaaaaan!!! Wake up and stop listening to the LIES!”
I chose to end the conversation at that point
I don’t think flat-earthers are capable of indulging in concepts like other planets. They’re entire personalities are completely dedicated to indulging in their silly “theories” and insisting that it’s important.
For example, have you ever asked a flat earther what possible incentive could there be for “the government” to lie about the shape of the Earth? The only answer they’ve ever given me is “control”, then they get very smug as if this someone proved something and won’t really discuss it any further. I don’t think they’re capable of imagining anything beyond that.
No, you’re thinking of Lach who as far as I know is still alive. Deadlock is that cyborg guy from Marvel comics.
Right… I see where I got confused. It’s that band from that cartoon show right?
Isn’t that the haircut The Misfits invented in the 80s?
I think it’s pronounced Kah-muh-lah
And what happens if job 2 doesn’t start for like 2 hours after job 1 and job 3 doesn’t start until 3 hours after job 2? That’s now a 14 hour day where your either working or getting ready to work with just enough “down time” to not really get too much accomplished… AND you’re going to get taxed on each paycheck. That sounds awful
True, but the whole point of having a shorter work week would be to have more free time wouldn’t three jobs kind of defeat the whole purpose? That would just mean I wake up dreading three jobs instead of one…
It sounds great! The real trick would be finding any company willing to pay the same 40 hours of wages every week for 15 hours of work. There’s not much point to a 3 hour work day if you have work 3 different jobs
I don’t know who that is.
You talkin shit about Ranger Carl?
