I used to, because I had a buggy TP-Link modem/router, & adding a cap was the only way that port forwarding would magically start to work. I have no idea why. The bug never got fixed.

No, but I was considering switching back to having one. I had an iPhone + Linux laptop combination for a while, which makes getting your music on your phone impossible. Now I’ve switched to a phone with CalyxOS, getting my FLAC & mp3 files on my phone is doable again, so I might not go the route of getting a dedicated mp3 player.
