Sounds like Twitter blue checks.

What if we all went back in and spewed nonsense? Like an entire thread talking about how the 42" iPad is the best with its 10k display and nuclear fusion powered battery.
Did you learn your lesson?
In addition to hydration, breathing will help. Take a deep breath in then just keep breathing out. All the way out. Near the bottom of your breath you should find it easier to pee. It’s a nifty trick if you’re a nervous peer or want to empty your bladder when it’s not quite full yet.
Does using “mankind” to refer to humans offend you? Genuine question.
Yup normal picture for tats that you can’t get in one pic. I mean that’s why it generated like that, a ton of those pics exist and got shoved into the magic picture box.
I love hearing a boop and scrolling through 50 channels to see which one was posted in.
Well this at least confirms my theory about who bbt was written for.
I think that’s a given, the concern is that at his age, a fall from height might reduce him to dust. Only half joking.
What changed that the apps are working again? I gave up and joined lemmy when rif died, haven’t checked since.
The phrase is a reference to the original karate kid movie. Rather than immediately teaching Daniel karate, Mr miyagi made him wax a bunch of cars, paint fences, sand floors, etc. The repetitive motions were actually training for particular karate moves, so rather than instructing the move, he already had it committed to muscle memory.
Pretty sure the context of the post means “non-obvious advice.” Something that clicks later.

Just finished my first watch of avatar a few weeks ago. Absolutely amazing fight.
Although helldivers is currently in a bad spot right now, the battle/fall of malevelon creek actually did get a sabaton inspired song and it’s pretty good. I’m actually subbed to the guitar solo guy’s patron so it was a nice surprise to see his name in the credits.

Context for those unfamiliar: Helldivers 2 is a live service third person shooter heavily inspired by starship troopers. The overall “story” is created by the game master and community through objectives. Up until this point, the only enemies were bugs, which were largely melee units and not terribly dangerous if you kept your distance. Malevelon creek was the first planet where many players encountered the automatons, who absolutely shoot back. That, combined with the dense foggy jungle planet, lead to significant difficulty in reclaiming the planet. Eventually the supply lines got cut off, meaning no players could enter the planet. The ones already there could still stay and fight, which many did for 3 desperate days before the planet finally fell.
Grindr, probably. Don’t Google his ladybugs.
5 sounds fun to exploit. Could just record myself staring at the screen on a loop, then loop the audio back to input, leave it on 24/7 and reap whatever godawful “benefits” come from having a great ad watching score.
Definitely seek professional help as others have suggested, but in the meantime, try to sleep in increments of about an hour and a half. 7 and a half is a good target. It’ll ensure you wake up out of light sleep and not during deep sleep which is super rough. If you take a nap, an hour to an hour and a half should be the max. Anything beyond that will have you groggy for a while.
Fair enough. But I also don’t agree with the assessment that it would bring more users in. There are already a ton of instances to pick from. While democratizing an instance seems interesting, if I were constantly in the minority for instance changes, it would be better for me to save my money and simply find an instance that aligns with my preferences. You’d also need a pretty significant amount of paid users to be able to pay any sort of salary, plus the additional headache of sorting out payroll for people who are likely in several different countries. If you just wanted to offset server costs that would be significantly smaller in scope, but then no paid mods.
I’m not saying don’t try it (anakin), it could maybe be pretty cool, but it seems like a long shot to me personally.
