I also had this issue. I was doing everything I could think of to take care of my teeth, but I’d go to the dentist and they would comment about plaque and signs of receding gums. I switched to an electric toothbrush and waterpik. I was actually able to reverse some of the recession (verified by having the dentist take measurements, not notable by just looking)
The US government loves to be told no.
Who said anything about circumcision? Lol
When they directly ask you, you tell the truth, doesn’t matter the age. They probably won’t ask until well into elementary school. Here is an interesting Psychology Today article about lying to your kids about Santa. To sum it up, not really harmful. https://www.psychologytoday.com/intl/blog/the-nature-deception/201912/should-you-lie-kids-about-santa
It’s no more public than a shopping mall. The mall and Twitter are owned by a corporation or private entity so they can kick you out for any reason. They own the space, not the government. A public space is somewhere typically owned by the government like the library, town hall, roadway, or park. A common misconception is that anywhere people can freely enter is a public space, that’s not really how it works. If you think I’m wrong, go wave a Nazi flag and cause a disturbance at a mall and see how fast they kick you out.
Everyone would be miserable at first, so you wouldn’t want to be out in public for the first week or so, then after the withdrawal subsided it would be more or less back to normal. I went off caffeine for a while, once you get over the hump you realize you don’t actually need it as much as you thought.
Visited lemmy, liked lemmy, saw many beans, like beans.
So true, $5/mo is the minimum donation amount to give you access to PBS Passport which unlocks all content of the regular PBS app.
Those of you with kids that want to stream some quality content shouldn’t overlook PBS Kids. The app on Roku and Apple TV is decent quality. Lots of free commercial free shows, and you can live stream the PBS Kids channel.
No accent, it’s a derivation of the Scots-Irish “yous ones.” Here’s the Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yinz?wprov=sfti1#
