There’s a difference between sticking your fingers in your ears and just wanted to go on an app for fun and having it turned into a negative space.

I do like that tabs got added to file explorer and I almost always enjoy UI changes so I like the new desktop and menus. Control panel is always still there if you want the classic style settings.
When was the last time you tried? And Wine and other similar programs have come a long way. Especially what steamdeck/proton has done for gaming is insane.
North of Sacramento? Not cold at all, and there are lots of great places to get out in nature. I can’t speak to Seattle much, it will get colder than Sacramento but the nature is probably even better. Summer near Sac can be very warm and get over 100, but that’s becoming more common more places
This was a much more succinct way of saying what I wanted to say.
Just adding in a couple thoughts… there are lots of apps for this or you can keep it simple with your own spreadsheet. I’ve used EveryDollar for like 6 years now, it’s gotten a little bloated but the core functionality is the same.
Budgeting sucks at first. It feels super restrictive, and it’s a little stressful. This goes away after like a month or two and you will feel the complete opposite. It feels like so much more freedom once you get the hang of it and you will feel very empowered controlling your money.
I had a buddy try it out, saw how much he was spending on weed, then gave up trying. What you should do is just factor in your spending on weed and work around it if you need to, or change habits if you’re ready. Budgeting doesn’t mean you have to change your spending habits… you likely will, but it’s more about being in control of your money.
They definitely count as ingesting books but there is a difference between reading a book and listening to an audiobook.
Reading IS the activity but I feel like with audiobooks people are typically driving or something where the book is in the background. Though maybe some people put on headphones and just sit and listen or something. I don’t know if this makes me a snob lol.
Also The Expanse was the first book series I ever read. It was so good. And it made me like the show less even though the show is still great.
Yeah I’m the same. I figure reddit is never gonna die, just like how Facebook is still around. It will have it’s uses but I don’t plan to be on it very often.
Once is never, twice is always.
Where are the thumbs up buttons?
I’m on a Pixel 7 Pro. I really enjoy it. The camera is amazing and a lot of the Google features are really handy. Handy enough that it will be difficult to go with another brand I think.
It is also nice getting all of the newest Google features as they come out too! Though I do usually try and change manufacturers every time I get a new phone. I like trying new stuff out though.
Having a Pixel phone is always so great for calling these types of numbers. If it’s a popular enough number, it will show on the screen like text messages of all the # options as soon as it connects if it knows it. If it doesn’t it will still display voice to text so you don’t have to try and remember the best option. It will even “hold” for you and when someone picks up on the business’s end it will let them know you’ll pick up in a second and notify you. Sometimes it will even have info on the current average wait time.
It’s made calling companies so much nicer.
Broke a helmet and concussed myself as a teenager because my quick release on the front wheel was loose, and well you can guess what happened. Learned a valuable lesson that day to always, always check that the quick release is tight
I did post what I want to see. A reasonable take about not everything needing to be doomer central, I’m not denying negative things happening…
