Why Kinoite over Aurora or Bluefin?
Why Kinoite over Aurora or Bluefin?
My dad got and refurbished a vintage receiver and was showing it off to me. I asked if he was listening to a CD or a record because I’d never heard clearer audio. Nope, it was an FM station.
Blew my mind.
A lot of the modern tech is really good, though.
Cars are way more reliable than they were. They get way better gas mileage. They have a shitload more power (this is actually a con due to how everyone else drives these days). They’re way safer in both accidents and just general driving with traction control and lane departure warnings.
So it’s a real mixed bag. But I’d rather have the cars of today.
Because every single thing about those games is a psychological ploy to get people to spend as much money as physically possible. They run studies on what tweaks get people to spend more or less and I guarantee the numbers they show in the store have been studied.
It’s highly likely they fudge those numbers or outright lie.
Just a preface that I don’t like PoE.
Season 4 is a lot more fun, but I still think D3 is a better game. But if you compare D4 to what D3 was like at after release, D4 is in much better shape. It’s definitely heading in the right direction, and I suspect that the expansion in August will make it much better, similar to how D2 and D3 did.
Back to season 4, I leveled to max level, maxed out the battle pass, and experienced all of the content and that was good enough for me. I want really interested in sticking around to switch to better build and get the best gear.
That was the last movie I saw in theaters until two weeks ago when I saw Furiosa.
I enjoyed Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. Furiosa was better, though.
So many “AHA!” moments in TUNIC. Figuring out secrets. Figuring out mechanics for the first time and realizing you had access to things well before you realized you did. Finding the Holy Cross and the Golden Path. Many of this moments gave me goosebumps.
I used it when I was younger. I grew up and realized that it was not good to be exposed to that culture. Even when viewing it through a lens. Anonymity brings out the worst in people, and it’s infectious.
he aluminum can is still by far the most recyclable beverage container.
Wouldn’t glass be more recyclable?
Thanks, forgot to delete that.
I’ve never consumed either media of that story. But I thoroughly enjoyed Dan Olson’s take.
DS3 is my favorite. I have to fight the urge to play it again fairly regularly. It’s an oddly soothing game to play.
I really enjoyed that game, despite its faults, and despite the loud folks yelling about how it was the worst game ever. I put around 150 hours into it.
I really enjoyed the game, until it came to beating it on the harder difficulties. I lost steam when I had all the decks unlocked except for the ones that require bearing the higher difficulties. I did normal, and the next harder one.
I used to be very anti CVT. Then I bought a 3.6R Subaru Outback. I pull a 5x8 enclosed trailer with it and the biggest giveaway that you’re hauling anything is the gas mileage. So they ain’t all bad.
There’s the “Seven Up!” series by the BBC. They filmed a bunch of kids at age 7, and then again at 14, 21, 28, etc.
The first was filmed in 1964 and 63 Up was filmed in 2019.
you can still hit the toilet.
My world was changed when in my thirties, I realized that if you sit to pee, you don’t have to even open your eyes to aim.
No more missing, no more having to bother with lights. Game changer.
Starbucks accepted the union. The union won.
Not that I’m saying you should support Starbucks, but at least they stopped the union busting.
Mustard is great on its own, but better mixed with ketchup, IMO.
