I’ve had my blendtec for like 12 years. It’s got a counter on it for some unknown reason. I just made my morning protein shake. I’m at 5473 uses. My previous blender was an oster that lasted a few years and didn’t work well. I’d previously broken cheap blenders after a few uses. If you use it for more than just mixing up simple things, the vitamix and blentec are worth it. Literally the only reason I picked blendtec is because it fit under my counter. The vitamix was too tall.

Just wear them. The leather softens from use. If they’re dry and stiff, put some leather conditioner on the underside. Maybe you have them too tight. And maybe they’re just not for you.

Ha ha Etymology is fascinating. English is a wild language.

Thru is a word only in the sense that kleen, kwik, kut, tuff, chik, nite, lite, tho, etc are words. It’s called cacography or eye dialect and is the result of marketing and advertising agencies not being able to copyright common phrases. When the terms enter colloquial language, they’re still used but not copyrighted as the incorrect spelling still draws your attention.

Versioning is a feature completely separate from raid or dual nas or whatever else you do. Your example of the house burning down is exactly why I questioned the dual nas… Both nas will be toast.

So please, tell me again why you need 2 nas for versioning? Maybe you’re doing some goofy hack, then ok. That’s still silly. Just do proper versioning. If you’re coding, just use git. Don’t reinvent the wheel.

On site? I put enterprise drives in my nas. Always have and have never had a drive fail. If one does, raid is good until the replacement arrives.

US allows you to have a personal backup copy.
