That would be great. But Swiss people love their big cars, so I’m not too hopeful…

No 😁
It’s just a funny video from LinkedIn or TikTok
It seems like a lot of people think Palestine needs to do stuff but Israel doesn’t. I’m not sure if it’s a double standard, racism, Israeli exceptionalism or what.
In my case, it’s none of that. It’s your question: “how can Palestine gain its freedom”.
Now let’s be crazy for a moment and imagine that both sides collaborate to fix the issue. I think it would be mostly the same for Israel: get rid of the lunatics, realize that Palestinians are fairly close relatives, work on forgiveness on both sides, and work on a fair two-state solution or even better a single-state solution.
Here’s my take on it:
As long as they’re private businesses, they pretty much have to be profitable. That said, we probably should fund more public day care centers.
I think they are indeed pretty dangerous, but I agree that the numbers they give are meaningless. It would be great to see a well-done statistical comparison between different transportation modes.
À bit late to the party, no?
Usain bolt, to some extent
I meant using your polish nickname as your official Spanish name.
How about using your Polish nickname (surely you have one?)? This would likely be easier to spell for the average Spaniard, while staying closer to your identity than going full “Gregorio González”.
I feel that the healthcare money is not spent well. On one hand, basic dental care is not reimbursed at all. On the other hand, we spend millions on super expensive therapies for sick old people. I know it sounds harsh, but are these always needed? Can we do with previous generation treatments? At the very least, there should be room for negotiation with the pharma companies.
This is fake “work shortage”. Otherwise, we’d see salaries rise.
In a healthy economy, it’s completely normal that some bad, low-paying jobs remain unfulfilled.
Lol, Switzerland on the forefront of innovation, as always 😂
Thanks for the suggestion! I will try.
There’s a social cohesion aspect to community service that we shouldn’t ignore. For a country as diverse and individualistic as Switzerland, forcing everyone, once in their lives, in a big melting pot sounds like a big win for everyone. So, as long as it’s done well, I think it can be a net plus for the community, and thus completely defendable.
Of course, I say that as someone who did my “service” as a one-day thing in France, so take my words with a grain of salt.

So this is the “moderate republican”. Good to know…
