Mostly I just use nextclouds deck extension. It behaves close enough to what I need as a solo operation.

Others have said this, but it’s always a work in progress.
What started out as just a spare optiplex desktop and needing a dedicated box for Minecraft and valheim servers, to now having a rack in my living room with a few key things I and others rely on. You definitely aren’t alone XD
Regular, proactive work goes a long way. I also stated creating tickets for myself, each with a specific task. This way I could break things down, have reminders of what still needs attention, and track progress.
Maybe it’s some kinda allergic reaction. I know some people will get migraine like symptoms with red wines. Something to do with the tannins (compounds that give the ‘dryness’ effect in wines).
Are these craft brews or domestic stuff like Coors/bud?
Probably not. Knowing this would be hard not to be consumed with a countdown.
And besides, it seems like living in a timeline where this kind of knowledge is even possible has so many other implications. Does the knowledge come with the scenario that everything you may try to do to stop it only puts you closer to the outcome?
Does Vivaldi play nice with Wayland? I have it installed (can’t remember if was an rpm or flatpak) but seems to crash kinda often. Sometimes to the point of gnome session restarting. I used to have the opposite problem with my previous PC. All AMD cpu/GPU. Stock fedora 40 gnome.
Being a helpless bystander to something horrible happening to my family.
Was hoping to find this reply :)
I guess what I meant a bit more specifically are things like buttons, the screen, cables, any daughter boards needed for like special lights, speakers etc. stuff beyond, as you mentioned.
The cabinet and it’s own electronics.
The one I work at is, but it’s a smaller operation with about 250 clients, from 4 separate offices.
Xerox has been great for me. They dont just make giant copiers you need a forklift to deliver and a giant service contract. They still make small home office desk printers.
After wiring up to my network and giving it a static, it’s just worked, for all devices for everyone. No need to download or install anything either.

Starfield, but done right?
Sorry 😔
It’s not all roses up here either. I’m 6’4". Not NBA competitive in height, but well above the average. Finding clothes, shoes etc is a royal pita. Some amusement park rides I can’t fit in. Having to duck a lot and having to be generally more aware of the height of doorways and hanging light fixtures. Also having people in stores asking me to grab stuff from upper shelving gets old too.
It was and still is a few things: Mostly the cool factor. It’s different, does what I tell it (safety be damned lol ).
Security: Mostly sane defaults (like not making the initial user with full admin rights).
In the early days, a major factor was being poorer, constantly rebuilding Frankenstein PCs that would trip Ms activation crap. And with so many used parts, performance was better too.
Stealing this for copypasta XD
Fake it til you make it. And by this I don’t mean this in the actual work, but more the attitude. Several others have mentioned imposter syndrome. Same here, and I’m in IT. A space that’s impossible for any single person to know everything. Find what you’re good at, and dig in like school. Once you’re good with the work, you’ll be good AT the job.
The same session, but about 6 times. Realized the app that triggered it uses ie by default (Citrix session). So I’d been getting them right the whole time, but IE… Switched to chrome and got it first try.

I will say that 99% of the time I prefer coffee in the morning. It’s not even the caffeine, but the aroma and flavor. Coffee has just an overwhelming flavor, like it just grabs your mouth and puts it in a headlock.
Tea is my preferred midday or night drink. A more mellow taste, and can be very different.
